A short distance from the yard are the 5f all weather gallops with a 3f loop allowing any combination of training to take place. Horses trained at Eyehorn Farm have EXCLUSIVE use of the gallops. The configuration and size of the gallops allows Karen to have a wide range of training regimes open to them so that no matter what the horses need for education, stamina and keeping them fresh and happy, these gallops provide that. For owners it's only a short drive or gentle stroll to the gallops and they have a fantastic view of the horses going through their paces up close and personal.
The Gallops...
Behind every great racing yard...
Eyehorn Farm's Director Ksenia Jones is understandably proud of what she and her husband Nick have achieved at the purpose built racehorse training facility set in the beautiful Kent countryside in the village of Borden which has easy access to the motorway networks. The yard has superb facilities for the equine athletes and their owners. The aim is to keep the horses fit, healthy and happy. Eyehorn Farm boasts a 5f straight all weather gallop and a 3f all weather loop. The horses benefit from light airy stables, a horse walker, solarium and individual turn out paddocks. The Eyehorn Farm Club House is used for exclusive owner events and corporate business functions
The Clubhouse...
The Eyehorn Farm Club House is the perfect place to chat over a coffee and discuss future race entries or watch previous races on the widescreen TV. The club house hosts many Owner Events throughout the year as well as offering local businesses a meeting room with a "Racing Experience" built into the agenda if required.
Olympic Sized Indoor School...
No matter the weather the horses can be exercised. The school is a perfect, safe environment for working with young horses and schooling for older horses. Horses often use the indoor school to warm up before heading up to the gallops for some faster work. The school also has a round pen within it, perfect for starting the young horses in the best possible way.
Horse Walker, Solarium and Round Pen...
The horse-walker is another useful tool for helping with the fitness level of the horses. Up to five horses can be exercised at once.

A purpose built round- pen provides a safe and secure area to start the youngsters.

The horses benefit from the use of a solarium, hot and cold showers.
Stables and Turnout...
Every stable is a minimum of twelve feet square - giving the horses plenty of room to move about, lie down and roll. They also feature a plumbed, self-regulated drinking water unit. The horses are given as much paddock time as possible, and Eyehorn Farm has many acres of paddocks available for turn-out. The opportunity to get out in the sunshine, graze and stretch their legs keeps them fresh and happy, both after they've raced and during their longer breaks.
Accommodation...
Accommodation for owners, visitors and staff is available at Eyehorn Farm.
