Turf season begins

Berrahri

Berrahri jumped smartly under jockey Josephine Gordon and settled to race in second place. He made headway to challenge 2f out, went head to head with Handytalk going into the final furlong to make for an exciting photo finish! Berrahri got his head in front to win the 1m handicap for owners White Turf Racing UK, congratulations to all involved. Berrahri has now won 7 races.

Glenys The Menace owners

Glenys the Menace jumped well under Martin Dwyer to race in 4th when stepped up in trip in a 1m 2f handicap at Goodwood. She settled well on the outer, made progress to chase the leaders 1f out and kept on strongly to take 3rd place for owners Mark Curtis, Bob Malt and Tom & Alex Jenkins. Congratulations from all the team.

Bridey's Lettuce

Bridey's Lettuce put in an improved perfomance on only his second outing for our yard when stepped up in trip in a 1m 5 1/2f handicap at Chelmsford City tonight. He raced midfield on the inner under Kieren Fox, made progress to chase the leaders 3f out and put in a strong performance battling to the line with the favourite to take second place for owner Jefferson Melo. Congratulations from all the team.

We took two runners to Wetherby today and both didn't disappoint. White Turf Racing UK's Berrahri put in another solid performance under Martin Dwyer when making headway 2f out in a 1m handicap on good ground. He kept on strongly in the final furlong to take third for his owners.

Padrinho

Next on the card was Simon and Laura Malcolm's unexposed Padrinho who stepped up in trip in a 1m 6f handicap. He raced midfield under Kieren Fox, before making his challenge 2f out, battled well towards the line just being held to put in his strongest performance to date when taking second. Congratulations to all our owners on a thrilling afternoon's racing.

Chance to Dream

Chance to Dream didn't disappoint on handicap debut today over 1m on the turf at Windsor. He raced midfield before putting in a powerful performance in the final furlong, kept on strongly under a great ride from Kieren Fox to win cosily for owners Hugh and Pam Jarvis and Simon and Laura Malcolm. Congratulations on your win and thanks for the picture Simon!
