Mullarkey provided his owners Mark & Rachel Thomson, Matthew Tobin and Alan Sheridan with an early Christmas present tonight in a 1m 2f handicap at Chelmsford. Josephine Gordon had him settled towards the rear before making a well timed run going into the final furlong. Mullarkey made strong progress to challenge, battled to the line and found extra to produce another winning run.

The consistent Berrahri jumped smartly under Josephine Gordon in the last race on the card at Kempton in a 1m 3f handicap. He set a decent pace throughout the race, was challenged going into the final furlong where he kept on well to add to his prize fund taking third place for owners White Turf Racing UK.

It was a great night for Team John Best at Chelmsford City Racecourse with all three horses being turned out to a high standard by our stable staff each one winning the Best Turned Out awards. Then Lingfield Park Owners Group's 2yo Mossketeer stepped up in trip to 7f, ran another solid race to finish strongly under Robert Havlin taking third for his delighted owners.
